Kids earn kidZos, the official currency of KidZania, with every job they perform. Recognized at every KidZania metropolis throughout the world, kidZos are used to acquire goods and services as customers, save into bank accounts, invest long-term, pay taxes, and give back to the community through donations in KidZania. The more children work, the more they earn and the more they can experience.

Using kidZos, a child can participate in certain activities such as cashing in a check, opening a bank account, depositing money, donating, and learning how to save and earn interest. Kids can also purchase items from the redemption store, get their nails done, enroll in the university, and pay for their tuition, among other things. At the end of the day, kids can go back to the bank to deposit their kidZos or take them home and bring them back on their next visit.

KidZania Hanoi is designed for children aged 4–14. The majority of the activities require and teach a variety of skills associated with this age range. We do have an Early Years area for children under 4. All guests (except babies under 75cm) will need a valid ticket to enter.

The KidZania experience is designed specifically for kids ages 1–14; however, all children aged 16 and under are welcome to KidZania. Kids perform their activities together, guided by an adult Zupervisor. Activities and tasks will be distributed to the children depending on their age. For toddlers, there is a dedicated section called "Neighborhood", which focuses on activities such as the science lab and drive-in.

Yes, parents are allowed and welcomed at KidZania. They can observe their children role-playing in various activities within the establishment through a glass wall, as part of an audience for performances, or they also have the option to spend time in the parents’ lounge. Because of our "State of the Art" bracelet security system, adults are allowed to leave the facility for some time to go shopping or enjoy a meal in the shopping center where KidZania is located.

KidZania employs a state-of-the-art security system, whereby each visitor that enters KidZania will be given a unique security bracelet, allowing KidZania staff to track and locate each individual child throughout the city. The security bracelets are also assigned in groups as they come in, so a child cannot exit KidZania if an adult or the whole party is not present. This safety aspect ensures parents that their children are kept safe at all times.

Additionally, all our establishments are built in such a way that parents can observe their children participating in the various activities within the establishment via glass walls. However, we usually encourage children to be independent within KidZania; hence, parents can relax in the parent’s lounge equipped with Wi-Fi and a movie room while they wait for their children.
